[service record storage]
Every service, on the equipment itself.
BillyQR puts a QR label on the things you maintain — the furnace, the generator, the truck, the compressor — and keeps the whole service history behind it. Scan the label and you know what was done, when, and by whom. No filing cabinet, no shoebox of receipts, no trying to remember whether that was last spring or the spring before.
BillyQR for iPhone is coming to the App Store.
How it works
- Add the equipment. Name it, and add the make, model, year and serial number if you have them. Snap a photo while you are standing in front of it.
- Print the label and stick it on. BillyQR generates a QR code for each item. Print it, attach it to the equipment, and it is now self-documenting.
- Log services as they happen. Date, what was done, who did it. Attach the invoice, the manual, a photo of the nameplate, or a video of the noise it was making.
- Scan any time. Point your phone at the label and the full history opens — standing in the basement, in the yard, or under the hood.
What it does
Never miss a service
Set an interval — every three months, every year, whatever the manufacturer says — and BillyQR works out when the next service is due and reminds you before it arrives. You choose how much notice you want, and the app tells you the exact reminder date before you save. A wrench icon on the list shows at a glance what is due and what is fine.
Keep the paperwork with the machine
Attach photos, PDFs, Word and Excel files, and video to any piece of equipment. Warranty documents, manuals, invoices, before-and-after photos. It all lives with the item instead of in a drawer.
Find anything fast
Search across names, makes, models and serial numbers. Group equipment into your own lists — by property, by building, by vehicle, by client — so a portfolio of fifty items stays navigable.
Works where the equipment is
Equipment rooms and crawl spaces do not have signal. BillyQR keeps everything on your phone, so you can look up a record and log a service with no connection at all, and it syncs when you are back in range.
Your history follows you
Everything is backed up to your account. Get a new phone, sign in, and your equipment, your service history, your files and your reminders are all there.
Who it is for
- Homeowners keeping track of the furnace, water heater, septic system, generator and lawn equipment — and handing a real service history to the next owner.
- Property managers and small businesses maintaining equipment across several buildings or sites without a five-figure maintenance system.
- Service providers who want the history of a machine to be readable the moment they walk up to it.
- Fleet and equipment owners tracking vehicles, trailers and machinery by serial number.
Private by design
BillyQR has no advertising, no analytics software and no tracking. Your records are locked to your account on the server, so nobody else can read them — and you can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app. The details are in the privacy policy, which is short and specific on purpose.
